This is still a lot of fun throughout, but I’m not sure the depiction of McAllister as a generally pretty awful guy needed to be this overt. Everything he does after he gets stung by the bee felt very telegraphed (although of course this was a rewatch), which made him less interesting as a character. Perhaps I like my satire a little more subdued.
